Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Dublr platform and services (the "Service") provided by Dublr, Inc. ("Dublr," "we," or "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or accessing the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you are accessing the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Dublr is an AI-powered practice platform that allows users to simulate high-stakes conversations with synthetic personas (Negotiate Mode) and test messages against synthetic populations (Survey Mode). The Service is intended for professional development, communication strategy, and research purposes.

Dublr uses AI to generate synthetic personas and simulated responses. Outputs are probabilistic estimates and do not represent real individuals or guarantee real-world outcomes. See Section 8 for important limitations.

3. Account Registration

You must register for an account using a valid access code. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access at hello@dublr.ai.

You may not share your account credentials with others. Each user requires their own account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

Use the Service to harass, defame, or impersonate real individuals.
Submit content that is unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or violates others' rights.
Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service.
Use the Service to train competing AI systems.
Circumvent access controls, rate limits, or security measures.
Use automated tools to interact with the Service without prior written consent.

5. Intellectual Property

Dublr and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including all software, AI models, designs, trademarks, and documentation. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service.

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Dublr a limited license to process that content to provide the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. AI-Generated Content

The Service generates synthetic persona responses, coaching feedback, and analysis using AI. You acknowledge that:

AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not appropriate for your situation.
AI outputs do not constitute professional legal, financial, negotiation, or other advice.
You bear sole responsibility for decisions made based on AI-generated outputs.
Dublr does not guarantee that synthetic personas accurately represent any particular individual or demographic.

7. Subscription and Payment

Access to certain features may require a paid subscription. Subscription terms, pricing, and billing terms will be presented at the time of purchase. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as expressly stated in your subscription agreement.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DUBLR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. DUBLR'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, at our discretion. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at hello@dublr.ai. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
